Weight & Cosmetic Surgery of the Abdomen

Dr. Jones and Dr. Loffredo perform three different cosmetic surgery procedures with the intended result of improving the appearance of the abdomen. In making the choice of which surgery is needed, our surgeons consider which surgery can best addresses the patient’s complaint. At Cape and Islands Plastic Surgery we offer: Abdominoplasty, Mini-Abdominoplasty, and Liposuction of the Abdomen.

None of these procedures are a replacement for weight loss. In addition, the following is true concerning any of the above three surgeries: The closer the patient is to their ideal weight, the better her result.

What Is The Ideal Weight For Abdominoplasty?

The following table was provided to Cape and Islands Plastic Surgery by Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Our surgeons suggest that you discuss what you should weigh with your primary care physician. This will help you decide if you want to lose weight.
