Dermal fillers are an effective, nonsurgical option for reducing fine lines and wrinkles, plumping lips and cheeks, and giving a more youthful overall appearance. Here at CIPS, we offer several different types of fillers, and our team of master injectors will guide you through the process of choosing the right one for your individual concerns.
What are the Different Types of Laser Treatments?
One of the most popular concerns we treat with fillers is enhancing lips. For this, we typically use products from the Juvéderm or RHA collection of fillers. One example is Volbella, a natural-looking lip filler that enhances the fullness of your lips, reducing lines and wrinkles around your mouth. It is a temporary filler made of Hyaluronic Acid. Volbella is the perfect product to choose for small fine lines and subtle enhancement of the lips. The smaller particle size allows for the correction of these fine areas without the worry that your lips will get bulky or too puffy.
Other fillers we may recommend for lips are Juvederm™ Ultra Plus and Juvederm™ Ultra injectable gel, which are “next generation” hyaluronic acid dermal fillers that provide volume. They are used to treat wrinkles and folds resulting from a loss of volume beneath the surface of the skin, such as lines around your mouth and nose, and are also used to plump both the upper and lower lips. Juvederm™ Ultra Plus and Juvederm™ Ultra are the only hyaluronic acid fillers to receive FDA approval to last up to one year, however they can cause some bruising at the site of the injections, which is typically minor and goes away within a few days.
To add volume to the cheek area, Cape and Islands Plastic Surgery was one of the first cosmetic practices nationally to introduce JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC injectable gel. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC is the first and only filler FDA-approved to instantly add volume to the cheek area. It helps to give your cheeks a lift, helping restore contour and a more youthful profile, for up to 2 years.
The RHA Collection of Dermal Fillers
The RHA Collection of Hyaluronic Dermal Fillers is one of the newest collections of fillers we offer, and we were one of the first practices in the country to offer it. RHA Redensity is the ONLY FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler for dynamic lines and is specially designed to treat dynamic wrinkles and folds around the face. It has a gentle quality that allows us to fill even the smallest lines and can help dramatically decrease the visibility of these wrinkles, lines, and folds. The best part? Results can last up to a full year!
Revanesse Versa
Revanesse Versa is one of the newest fillers on the market. Using hyaluronic acid, this filler treats moderate to severe wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth area. It can help particularly with sagging skin that has created wrinkles. This new product not only smooths the folds and wrinkles, but also plumps your skin, helping you look more youthful and vibrant. There are many benefits to this filler, including immediate results and less risk of swelling.
Radiesse
Radiesse is a dermal filler used to soften and reduce facial lines such as the nasolabial folds (the lines between your nose and mouth) and the marionette lines (the lines that run down from your mouth). Radiesse can also be used to reshape the jaw line and cheek bone. Results can last up to 12 months and can be seen immediately. As with any filler treatment or injectable there may be some bruising for a few days.
