Breast Augmentation with or without Mastopexy: This procedure aids in reversing the effects of aging in women. Over the years, gravity takes hold, causing sagging of the breasts. A breast augmentation uses implants to restore lost volume or to create fuller breasts, and a mastopexy raises the nipple and areola to create a more youthful breast. While incision during this process is relatively small (4.0 cm), the procedure does require a recovery time of a few weeks.
Tummy Tuck
A Tummy Tuck, or an abdominoplasty is a procedure for a person who is near normal body weight, but has an excess of abdominal skin or fat. The surgery takes place over 3.5 hours and typically requires an overnight stay. This procedure has a standard recovery time of 2 to 3 weeks, and in some instances, a little longer.
Mommy Makeover
Mommy Makeovers are an increasingly popular cosmetic procedure for women to reverse parts of the aging process after having a child. The surgery involves three different procedures. A tummy tuck, breast enhancement, and skin tightening & fat removal are all included. Due to the multiple procedures, the recovery time from a mommy makeover can be longer than a month.
