During your initial cosmetic surgery consultation, Dr. Jones and Dr. Loffredo will first assess what your expectations are. After examining you, they will discuss what procedure(s) best address your goals. During each cosmetic surgery consultation, you will be informed of the way they perform the procedure, alternative methods, and possible complications. Dr. Loffredo and Dr. Jones will also show you before and after pictures of their own cosmetic and reconstructive surgical patients so that you can evaluate whether cosmetic surgery or reconstructive surgery is something you wish to consider for yourself.
You will find that your consultations with Dr. Loffredo and Dr. Jones are thorough, since they take the time to answer all of your questions. You are also welcome to bring a supportive friend or family member with you to your consultation. Our surgeons make every attempt to fully educate patients so that they can truly make decisions that are best for them. If you have more questions at a later date, you are welcome to come back for another consultation. If you have a few simple questions that can appropriately be answered over the phone, then the office staff of Cape and Islands Plastic Surgery will take the time to see that you get the information that you need.
If you decide to proceed with surgery, Dr. Loffredo or Dr. Jones will take pre-operative pictures. These are taken with a digital camera and our surgeons will download them on their computer and show them to you. As you come back for your post-operative visits, our surgeons will take your picture again and download them alongside your pre-operative pictures so that you can see your progress. Some surgeries take months before you reach your final result. You will be able to compare your final end-medical result at your long-term follow-up.

The staff at Cape and Islands Plastic Surgery will provide you with all the financial information concerning the surgery(s) that you are interested in. All of your financial questions will be answered during your initial consultation. Our office manager will provide you with a written price quote for our surgical services and will review all of your options for hospital pricing.
Drs. Jones and Loffredo charge a small, non-refundable fee of $150 for all initial cosmetic surgery consultations, due prior to the appointment.
Our surgeons are on staff at 3 facilities in order to provide patients with the convenience of multiple locations and surgery times.
The doctor himself, not support personnel, gives all consultations. The staff schedule appointments so that patients do not have to wait very long once they arrive at the doctor’s office.
